Official Establishment of the Professional Committee on Integrated Positioning under the China Association of Navigation and Positioning

 Geosun Leads Establishment of National Integrated Positioning Technology Committee

Beijing | May 18, 2025 – The China Association for Satellite Navigation and Positioning (CSNPA) has officially approved the formation of the Integrated Positioning Technology Committee during its 7th Executive Council meeting in Beijing. This landmark initiative will be led by Dr. Hongxing Sun, Founder & CEO of Wuhan Geosun, as the Director Committee Member.

During the meeting, President Mr. Yu Xiancheng delivered a comprehensive report on the Association’s recent work. Among several key resolutions approved, one major milestone was the official establishment of the Professional Committee on Integrated Positioning, initiated and led by Wuhan Geosun Navigation Technology Co., Ltd.

Aims and Vision

The Integrated Positioning Committee is positioned as a collaborative platform for professionals, researchers, and enterprises in the field of integrated positioning. Its mission is to:

• Foster academic and industrial exchange

• Promote technological innovation and practical applications

• Host high-level seminars and training programs

• Increase public awareness and industry-wide knowledge

Organizational Structure and Membership

The committee's framework has been formally established with:

• The membership system has been preliminarily established, covering application criteria, member rights and obligations. To date, the first batch has attracted nearly 80 professional members, with ongoing efforts to expand participation.
