On the afternoon of October 17, a delegation of more than 20 representatives from Belt and Road countries visited Wuhan Geosun Navigation Technology Co., Ltd. for a technical exchange and cooperation dialogue.
The delegation included officials and technical experts from Armenia, Laos, Nigeria, and several other nations along the Belt and Road Initiative. Participants represented diverse sectors such as government agencies, telecommunications organizations, and technology enterprises — all sharing a common interest in satellite navigation and intelligent sensing innovation.
During the meeting, Ms. Xiang, International Business Manager of GEOSUN, introduced the company’s development journey and technological roadmap.
With over two decades of experience in the high-precision positioning industry, GEOSUN has been dedicated to advancing multi-sensor fusion technologies — integrating GNSS, INS, LiDAR, cameras, and odometers — to provide end-to-end perception and positioning solutions for applications in robotics, autonomous driving, and laser scanning.
In the product demonstration session, GEOSUN showcased its GS-200G handheld LiDAR system, equipped with a Livox Mid-360 laser sensor and proprietary SLAM algorithms.
Whether in open outdoor fields or complex indoor environments, the GS-200G delivers stable and efficient 3D point cloud acquisition. Its lightweight, portable design makes it an ideal tool for urban mapping, infrastructure inspection, and digital twin modeling.
The guests showed strong interest in the system’s practical applications, particularly in urban surveying and smart agriculture, engaging in in-depth discussions with GEOSUN’s engineers on product specifications, system adaptation, and workflow optimization.
This visit not only built an effective platform for mutual understanding and collaboration between GEOSUN and Belt and Road countries but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. Both sides reached initial consensus on potential collaboration in technology localization, joint application development, and scenario-based innovation.
