To make the most of this opportunity, the GEOSUN team used our handheld LiDAR system to scan areas of the exhibition venue and generate immersive 3D datasets.

By combining high-precision LiDAR data with modern 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) workflows, we transformed real-world exhibition spaces into realistic digital environments. The results demonstrate how reality capture technologies can rapidly create detailed and interactive 3D scenes for visualization, documentation, and digital twin applications.
