Reservoir Mapping | Geosun GS-100C+ UAV LiDAR Scanning System

In a recent reservoir surveying project, the Geosun GS-100C+ LiDAR system, integrated with the Drone 700A, was deployed to map four medium-sized reservoirs with high accuracy and efficiency.

Each reservoir was scanned in approximately 30 minutes, maintaining stable flight at 80–100 meters altitude. The GS-100C+ performed exceptionally well in capturing detailed surface data, with over 80% of the point cloud achieving vertical accuracy within 5 cm.

Equipped with the Livox AVIA sensor and capable of generating colorized point clouds, the GS-100C+ provided high-density, clear 3D data suitable for topographic modeling, sediment volume analysis, and long-term water management planning.

Compact, lightweight, and seamlessly compatible with various UAV platforms, the GS-100C+ proved to be a reliable solution for reservoir mapping tasks requiring both speed and precision.
