FAQ of Usage LiDAR Scanning System-2.Indicators Abnormal and Checking

4 LED Indicators Definition

P: Power indicator (Light on)

G: GNSS satellite indicator (blink 1 time/sec)

T: Ext indicator (blink 1 time/2 sec)

L: 1)LiDAR indicator (blink 1 time/sec)

    2)LiDAR indicator Only for Avia sensor 3 echos (blink 3 time/sec, then off 3 s)

If the Indicators blinks abnormally, please check step by step.

P indicator is on, others are off

Reason: the LiDAR unit does not lock the satellites.

Solution:

A. Check the GNSS antenna whether it is open sky, the flight area is GNSS shielded area or not.

B. Check the connection of cables, any loose, damage and water or objects inside of connection.

G indicator blinks quickly

Reason: SD card is loose or SD card is damaged.

Solution: Pull out and insert SD card, format SD card

G indicator blinks in order, but L indicator is off.

Reason：LiDAR unit is working abnormally.

Solution：Check whether there is objects cover the scanner, or any spot.
