Penetration Comparison between GS-130X (Hesai XT-32 sensor) and GS-100C+ (Livox Avia sensor)

Here comes the result of penetration comparison between GS-130X (Hesai XT-32 sensor) and GS-100C+ (Livox Avia sensor) for the same area at the same flight parameters. Judying by the profile anaysis and ground LAS, it's easy to find more ground points with the data captured by GS-130X rather than GS-100C+. This reveals a simple fact that GS-130X's LiDAR sensor is able to produce pulses with smaller beam divergence that are more likely to travel gaps between leaves of the tree and hit the ground. Despite others differences between them such as FOV, pulse rate, and ranging accuracy, clearly, GS-130X outperforms GS-100C+ for sure in terms of penetration.
